LLC
is
built
upon
the
company's
proven
ability
to
purchase
timber
for
the
many
mills
that
have
chosen
the
Southeast
as
home
for
their
operations.
The
company
was
one
of
the
first
in
Mississippi
to
sell
wood
to
mills
through
the
wood
dealer
system
by
buying
wood
at
Rail
Road
sidings
and
loading
it
into
boxcars.
Many
of
these
same
yards
are
still
in
use
today
as
large
concentration
yards
that
store
wood
under
sprinkler
systems
for
inventory
during
extended
wet
periods.
Through
the
strategic
location
of
Foresters
and
Woodyards,
the
company
has
the
ability
to
procure
timber
from
many
geographically
different
areas
of
the
state,
providing
markets
not
only
to
area
landowners
who
wish
to
sell
their
timber,
but
also
to
the
mills
with
whom
they
serve.
